Very Small Brown Lidded Container. Possibly Bendigo Pottery? 58 mm high.. Pottery. Bendigo. Small lidded container with dark brown glaze with some lighter tones. 58 mm. 1930s
Excellent. (8). 5 x 2 mm flake to the inner rim where the lid sits, this is very shallow. 4 x 3 mm mark to outer lip rim looks like a flake initially, but is just a glaze miss from making. 12 x 3 mm mark to upper body is part making lump and part wear, likely from making where the potter tried to remove the lump after firing. One tiny flake to base edge. The lid is quite dainty, surprising really that it is not damaged! Just has a couple of thin slivers and minor marks to it. Great little piece of pottery, looks a bit like Bendigo Pottery to my non trained eye? Estimate: $30-40
