Trade / (Kangaroo with Joey) Mark. Smooth base.. Household. Jar. Lightning or swing stopper style closure. Ground lip. Aqua. Half Gallon. 260 mm with lid and bail in place. 1890s-1900s
Excellent. (8.5). Typical flakes and nibbles around the ground lip. Wire and bail is rusty, but solid and functional. Fair bit of dust and grime around, this will clean off. Mark to right of trade mark is crud which scrapes off. A few slightly scuffed scratches and minor marks. Great example of this rare and highly sought after Australian fruit jar, you can't get much more iconic than a kangaroo! Estimate: $1000-1500
