Fair. (5.7). T. W. H. Chilton opened his general grocery and dairy produce store in Barberis' Building in hare Street, Echuca in the middle of August 1897. The grocery was still being advertised in 1944, the estate of the deceased T. W. H. Chilton was being sold in Echuca in 1948. This demijohn is probably 1910s-1920s. I have never seen one before. The handle is broken. 32 x 14 mm chip out of rear lip. 17 x 9 mm chip to outer front lip. Some candle wax around the demijohn. A few lumps have some blow out type wear to them. Some minor scratches and scuffs. Extremely rare, well worth getting repaired. Estimate: $100-150
