Very Good. (7). Hazy, some inner opalescence in places as well. A few little impact nicks to the lip. Front outer lip has a pitted scratch down it, also again to the front chamber lower down. Another scuffed patch to upper front, then a 17 x 2 mm pitted example above the E of the trade mark. Wide pitted scratch below the diamond down to the base edge. Impact fisheye and surface flake to rear chamber. Scuffs and scratches scattered around. Unusual bottle, this is similar to other Broome codds in design, this is the first we have sold. Mr. A. E. Gummow, of Broome, sold his pearling fleet, consisting of seven luggers and a schooner, together with the Roebuck Bay Hotel, to Mr. Goldstein, of Melbourne, at a satisfactory figure in September 1901.
