French Street Scene.. Pot Lid. Prattware. Large multicoloured round Pratt lid. No base. 103 mm across. 1860s
Very Good. (7.1). Hairline through the flange to the right, comes into the face as a very fine line towards the middle before disappearing. Crazing throughout. A little discolouration as well. One very small flake to inner flange. A few scratches. No base with this one. This is Lid 312 in "The price guide to pot-lids and other underglaze colour prints on pottery, A. Ball, 1970." Estimate: $30-50
