George Lamb / Thursday Island. Base Mark: 1332. (Queensland). Aerated Water. Cork Stoppered. Dump blob top. Applied top. Bright Green. 10 oz. 162 mm. 1880s
Good. (6.4). Stained throughout, including some extensive etching. 4 x 6 mm sliver to front left base edge. Nibbled impacts and wear around much of the base edge. Section of deep scuffed scratches down the right rear. Down the front left the etching has an orange peel effect to it. Fisheyes and impact marks throughout. Scuffs and scratches all around as well. Strong embossing, this has the same marks over it as the rest of the bottle. A great item which would polish up better. (The lamb is that weakly embossed on this one that it cannot be seen at all...!) These non pictorial examples are extremely rare as well, the first we have offered. Estimate: $2000-3000
