Moonee Valley Coy (in a Horseshoe) / Horonda / Tel 1899 / North / Fitzroy. No base mark. (Victoria). Aerated Water. Cork Stoppered. Very tall tapered cylinder. Applied thin ring seal top. Aqua. 26 oz. 380 mm. 1890s - 1900s
Very Good. (7.5). Polished. Two indents on the lip, one to the right looks more like a polished down chip with some of the indent going over to the outer edge of the lip itself. The top itself looks like an afterthought from the glass maker, very thin and with a distinct ridge inside the neck. Just the remains of some scratches around. There is an 8 mm curved fracture in the surface of the bottom edge of a bubble over the LL of Valley. In consequence the inner part of this bubble has a stained white appearance. Great looking bottle and one of a nice range in this auction. Estimate: $200-300
