Agent / For / Pullars' / Dye Works / Perth // Agent / For / Pullars' / Cleaners / and Dyers / Perth / (Illegible) Palmers Green. N. 18. (United Kingdom). Signs. Enamel. Double sided enamel sign, light blue and black on white background. About 578 mm high. 1900s
Very Good. (N/A). Looks like small holes have been drilled in top and bottom for mounting purposes, as in after market - this was probably in a frame originally. Around these two holes on both sides is a flaked circular section which is rusty, roughly 40 x 40 mm on each side, although bigger at the bottom on one side, and this does take out part of the lettering as well. Around the edges is some typical minor flaking and corrosion, nothing major here. A few other minor flakes here and there and some scratches. The Dye Works side has a couple of larger flakes and associated rust near the edge. Nice sign, Sir Robert Pullar who was a senior partner of Pullar's Dye Works was Lord Provost of the city of Perth for 6 years. Estimate: $100-200
