N/A. (N/A). 1. VG. Polished. Some pitted wear to inner chamber. Little flake to edge of rear neck teardrop. Remains of some fisheyes and impact marks. Texta under base. Strong embossing has some minor nibbles and marks, but is good in general. 2. Fair. Polished. Remains a bit dull, has been oiled internally. Pitted wear to inner chamber. Remains of fisheyes and impact marks. some pitted mark and scratches scattered around. 14 mm discoloured crack to bottom of lip on right. 3. VG. Oiled internally, this has some associated grime. Flake to upper left lip has been very well polished back to minimise it, another to the inner right rear lip has had a little work to minimise it as well. Very hard to even tell, it has not been major work at all. Just a few small fisheyes and impact marks. A few fine scratches and minor marks. Great embossing has only small marks. A few scuffs to the rear. Nice looking example. 4. Good. Polished. Looks to have had some minor work done to the upper lip. Couple of tiny nicks around the lip. Some haze in places. Remains of little fisheyes and impact marks scattered around. Remains of some inner etching. A little fine inner chamber wear. Surface bubble or two. Nick or two to heel. Remains of a little wear to the embossing and a bit of rounding as well. We have sold LOTS of John Stareky codds, after spending a LONG time trawling through every sale, I can confirm that we have NEVER sold a small Patent Safe Groove example, until now! Estimate: $80-150
