N/A. (N/A). 1. VG. Minor surface glaze flake to upper lip. Very fine band of wear to shoulder. 36 x mm chip under front right base, you can see a bit of this when the bottle is sitting on the table. 38 x 20 mm flat chip under right base edge, a small part of this can be seen to the side as well. Some scratches and small discoloured spots. Nice looking bottle from Scotland. 2. VG. 10 x 3 mm flake to upper lip. Some other minor upper lip wear. A bit of fine wear around the shoulder. 8 x 9 mm shallow flake to lower front right near base edge. 7 x 2 mm thin chip to right of this at base edge, next to a small making mark. 10 x 5 mm chip under right base. 7 x 6 mm flake to rear base edge. 11 x 3 mm chip to left rear base edge. Some other smaller flakes and a bit of wear to base edge. Some wear to the bulged out parts of this crudely made bottle. Some scratches. Well impressed. I thought initially this may be Speight from New Zealand, but according to a google search they didn't start until 1876. I can't find details regarding this company in the UK either, but the Speight name seems common in Lancaster in the UK. Interesting, early bottle. 3. VG. No stopper. Scrape type mark to rear near base edge. Couple of fine slivers or potters pulls to base edge. A bit of dust and grime. Some surface wear is a little discoloured. Little glaze flake to rear shoulder. A few scratches and minor marks. Estimate: $30-60
