Country Quarters.. Pot Lid. Prattware. Very large multicoloured round Pratt lid. No base. 120 mm across. 1860s
Very Good. (7). Nice, very big lid. Just some fine scratches to the face. Short hairline to outer edge of rim. Horseshoe hairline to outer flange. Couple of nicks to bottom of flange. Some fine crazing from making. Crack along the bottom of the rim along the upper flange, this seems to be a making mark, but does actually catch the nail. No base with this one. We have not sold one of these before. This is Lid 273 in "The price guide to pot-lids and other underglaze colour prints on pottery, A. Ball, 1970." Estimate: $40-60
