(Wicker basket effect all over) / weird shaped label space on one side (sometimes referred to as a map of Australia). British Registration Diamond to Base (7th September 1876: Sykes MacVay & Co Castleford). Spirits. Whisky/Whiskey. Oval. Applied double collar top. Aqua. Half Pint. 195 mm. 1876-1880s
Very Good. (7.9). A little bit grimy. Probably been acid cleaned by the looks. Crude top with manufacturing folds through it. Lovely crisp registration diamond to the base. Sometimes referred to as a Map of Australia flask due to the label shape and if you kind of squint you can sort of see it. Nice bottle nonetheless! Estimate: $100-200
