Bollington Hop Beer Co / Richmond / Registered / B Trade / Mark A1 / G. Bollington / Ales & Stout // Bollington. Base Mark: M. (Victoria). Beer. Cork Stoppered. Champagne. Applied thin top with strong ridge under its bottom edge. Aqua. 26 oz. 300 mm. 1900s
Very Good. (7.5). At the top of the left seam line, the lower lip has a little nibbled flake. 13 x 5 mm open bubble to front right upper body that has some dirt in it. A little grime to the front shoulder, this may wash off? Some scuffs and scratches to be found, generally shiny throughout. Some nice whittle to the glass. Embossing is nice, there are some minor marks but only a couple. Made deliberately with this thin lip, looks like they must have been made for some sort of swing stopper. Very scarce bottle. This variety has and ampersand (&) between Ales & Stout, also seen with the "And" fully spelled out. This same bottle was sold way back in Auction 17, Lot 274. Estimate: $400-800
