Emil Resch / Ginger Beer / Broken Hill, N. S. W. Potters Mark: Price / C / Bristol. (New South Wales). Ginger Beer. Crown Seal. Dump shape. All white. Blue print. 10 oz. 185 mm. 1920s
Repaired. (0). We sold this exact bottle in Auction 46, when the condition report was: "Poor. Looks good on the shelf, but has a wee issue! A hole in the base measures about 45 x 40 mm, yes, that is most of the inner circumference of the base so the base is basically missing. At the front this is only under the base, but to the rear some chipping comes up the body a little too. Discoloured 60 mm hairline to right from the base towards the rear. Fine hairline around mid neck. Some crazing. A great looking shelf example as long as you don't turn it upside down or to the back." Since then the owner has had this bottle repaired, the repairer has painted the whole bottle except for around he blue print, basically tracing around the print when painting. It is definitely the same bottle as auction 46 though, so to see the prior picture, please look at that auction. Estimate: $300-400
