Cartwright's / Pasteurised / Vitamilk / Phone B2354 // One Imperial Pint. Base mark: (Modern AGM Monogram) / (Circle) / G499. (H. H. Cartwright, Mount Hawthorn, Western Australia). Household. Dairy. Machine made, wad style thick lip. Clear. Red Print. 1 Pint. 204 mm. 1940s
Very Good. (7.2). Fisheye to upper lip. A bit scratched, mostly around the shoulder region. Some inner base dirt should soak out. Print is a bit faded, the bottom writing even more so being quite ghosted in places. This is definitely a Western Australian bottle, in 1939 a newspaper article stated "Milk Bottles with the words "Cartwrights Pasteurised Vita Milk" stencilled or moulded thereon are the property of H. H. Cartwright, Mt. Hawthorn.". Estimate: $100-150
