Moonee Valley Company / (Jockey on Horseback) / North Fitzroy // Gambles / (G in Bell) / Murrumbeena (Another ghosted Moonee Valley stamp nunder the Ganbles stamp, except it had an extra line below saying Telephone 1899! No base mark. Has an R. Harrison spout in place. (Victoria). Aerated Water. Soda Syphon. Round. Clear. 30 oz. 308 mm with spout. 1910s
Very Good. (7). Spout is firmly in place, we presume the lip is fine. Small amount of contents remain. Stained internally. Open bubble to lower inner body. Couple of little nicks. Some fisheyes and impact marks. Some small flakes and nibbled marks around the pedestal base. Typical scuffs and scratches that you find on soda syphons that have been heavily used over the years. This is MOST interesting, I just noticed some ghosted writing under the Gamble. This was the same Moonee Valley badge as per the front, EXCEPT, it also had Telephone 1899 in another ribbon below the badge! Really weird, and unique bottle! This is the first Moonee Valley Company syphon we have sold!. Estimate: $150-200
