Very Good. (7.5). Unusual bottle, seems likely these were made by Melbourne Glass Bottle Works, glass colour and base style fit their work and there are drawings of one of Boyd's Patent bottles that have a different closure but the same lower body shape is shown. Scratches and wear. Bit of dullness. 10 x 3 mm chip to the underside of the applied top. The stopper may not belong to the bottle. The stopper is chipped over one end. Nice example of a scarce and unusual bottle. (late Ern Taylor Collection). Estimate: $70-100
