Miniature Bellarmine Jug. German / Lowlands Region. Small handled Bellarmine style jug with mottled salt glaze. 118 mm. 17th century
Good. (6). 8 x 3 mm flake to upper left rear lip. Couple of little outer lip flakes. On close inspection, a superb restoration has occurred with the handle having been replaced, there is evidence of some great paintwork at both ends of the handle where it meets the body. Little flakes around the crudely made base edge. What a fantastic item! This is from the German / Lowlands region. Estimate: $100-150
