Thos J. Green / Trade (Swan) Mark / Morang // Lemonade. Base: M. (Victoria). Aerated Water. Codd. Dobson or Four way type. Spun finished top. Aqua. 10 oz. 235 mm. 1910s
Very Good. (7.2). Tiny sliver to upper rear lip, little inner lip nick next to this. Little nick or two to heel. 12 x 3 mm pitted scratch to front upper right, there is a shallow 4 x 4 mm nibbled flake next to this. Tiny nick to front chamber. 3 x 3 mm fisheye near rear dimple, pitted scratch next to this over about 15 mm. Some fisheyes and impact marks, mostly around the base edge but there are a few elsewhere. A bit of fine inner dirt, this should soak out. Really strong embossing, it does have nibbled crate wear across the rear and upper embossing mainly, a bit to the rest as well but to a lesser extent, the swan only has some spotty high point wear so is pretty good, with great detail. Scuffs and scratches scattered around, heaviest around the upper body and chamber, but they are elsewhere as well. A decent example overall, highly sought after bottle with the large swan trade mark, these rarely come up for sale.. Estimate: $750-1000
