Photocopied label for Sarsaparilla (Crystal Cordial Co., Sale at the bottom of the "label"). Spirits Various 1. Applied top, tooled finish. Bright Emerald Green. 26 oz. 2. Square. Applied collar top. Ice Blue. (Fake black & white label). 26 oz. 240 & 224 mm. 1880s - 1910s
1. Good. Hazy. Heavily oiled internally. Discoloured scuff to shoulder of Townsend's panel. Pitted scratch to edge of Albany panel. Couple of little flakes to lower opposite edge of same panel. Nibbled flakes along bottom of this same panel. Bottom right heel of the Townsend's panel has a 23 x 14 mm chip. Some scratches and one or two little scuff marks. Brilliant colour. 2. Excellent. Bottle is beautiful with some fleabites around the base. A bit of dirt. Some haze. Scratches and scuffs. Shame there is no embossing but still a nice bottle. Grade: N/A Estimate: $40 - 60
