Cheese Plate and cover. Majolica glazed base. Top has Dark blue with pink and other colours decoration of birds, flowers etc. Both have brown glaze with a fancy spade and Keyhole type pattern. Pink inside, blue mark of two dots and a swoosh. Pottery Cheese Cover Cheese cover and plate. Multi coloured. Plate 210 mm across. Cover is 150 mm tall.. Late 1800s-1900s
Very Good. Crazing. Some dirt and grime. Minor marks generally. 13 x 7 mm chip under the base edge of the plate. Quite a spectacular piece of pottery. Grade: 7.9 Estimate: $100 - 150
