Repaired. On the face at the left from about 9 o'clock to 8 o'clock has been repaired up to around 12 mm into the face. You can see that the decoration here, the edge border and the W of William have all been hand drawn in and are an OK match. The whole lid has had a shiny coat put over it. There is crazing and some stain all around the rest so it does just seem to be that chip on the face that has been repaired. Looks brilliant on display and is a rare pot lid.
