Frisco / Trade (Crown over A I over LFCo monogram) Mark / Fruit Jar. Base mark: M. (Victoria) Household Jar Seam through lip. Bail and wire type closure. Aqua. Quart. 167 mm. 1910s
Very Good. 10 x 3 mm flake to outer left lip edge. Some other little chips and flakes around the ground lip, common for this type of closure. Tiny nick to lower mid rear outer lip. Band of fine wear around this outer lip. 35 x 5 mm wide crack to right lower lip just above the wire. Wire is rusty. Crude mark to mid rear is an inclusion type fold from making. Scratch to mid rear. A few other light scratches and minor marks. Lid has a chip to inner rim and a few small flakes. Sliver to top edge of jar and some scrapes where the wire goes across the lugs. We have only sold one quart Frisco jar before, but it had invert commas around Frisco and no base mark. This is the first M base mark example that we have sold. Grading does not include lid. Grade: 7 Estimate: $100 - 150
