Lot 331: Broken Hill Lamont Bottles

1. Very Good. Some stain but seems to be mainly surface without deeper etching into the glass. A little impact at the lower front left. A couple of manufacturing folds - one at the front base and a line over the front shoulder. Nice little bottle and shouldn't take much of a clean for this to be a beauty. 2. Good. Stained and dull. Chip to the back top that is 7 x 5 mm on the outside and a bit wider on the inside lip. Down one edge and n the outside of this chip is a fracture to the outer lip of about 12 mm. Some pitting. Scratches and scuffs. 3. Fair. Really dull and stained. There is a crack in the front left lip that runs 6 mm down the front but is also 20 mm down the inside lip - i.e. the lower part doesn't go all the way through the glass. A lot of pitting and marks. Good embossing. 4. Excellent. A beautiful shiny bottle. Just the odd litlte mark around. Some light scratches. Hint of haze in parts inside. Great embossing. Tall skinny variety. 5. Good. Dull. Top is quite crudely formed for these, looks like an early type using this spun finished technique. A handful of nibbles and little flakes in the lip. Scratched and scuffed with dullness throughout. 6. Very Good. Dull to most of the surface but not too much in the way of deeper marks. Quite a nice little bottle. Grade: N/A Estimate: $100 - 150
