(United Kingdom) Spirits Whisky/Whiskey Handled Whisky Jug. All White. Black Print. Small. 168 mm. 1890s
Excellent. Really small glaze flake to right lip edge. Upper front neck has a 8 x 4 mm mark which is a glaze miss type mark from making. Little flake to front left base edge over only 4 x 2 mm. Similar small mark under rear base heel. Couple of patches of rust to rear and some minor surface rust to lower front. A few other small discoloured patches. Has a cork that is firmly in place. Some minor scratches and marks. We have sold several of these as they are not rare? However, they have all been around 190-200 mm tall, this is a somewhat smaller size! I was unaware of these coming in two sizes, this one must be quite a hard one to get? Grade: 8.3 Estimate: $150 - 200
