1. Fair. 15 x 7 mm chip to inner right lip. The main thing with this is a large slice chip to the left and rear base heel over a total of about 50 x 20 mm! Well, I did say large! Most of this is under base though and to the rear, so not noticeable when the bottle is on the shelf. Scattered scuffs and scratches amongst some crate wear. Small flake to rear lip. We have not sold one of these before. 2. Good. We have sold a P. W. Tomkins pint before, but that was a later version from his St Georges Road, Thornbury location. This bottle has nibbled flakes around the left upper lip. The right inner lip edge has a bruise over about 14 x 6 mm. A bit of dull haziness internally, this may at least partially clean out. Usage wear under base. Fine scuffs and scratches throughout, a bit of crate wear to the embossing in places. 3. Very Good. Little flake to wad seat inside lip. Inner film wipes off with finger so will clean out. Some wear to seam around outer lip. Couple of tiny nicks to heel. A couple of tiny fisheyes. Some fine scuffs and scratches. A decent enough example. 4. Excellent. Tiny impact surface flake to upper left lip. Some fine grime will clean off. Some fine scuffs and scratches scattered around. A few fisheyes and small impact marks. Lower embossing has some crate wear to wards the base edge. A few small nibbled marks to some of the other embossing, in general though the embossing is great and crisp. Nice example overall. Grade: N/A Estimate: $40 - 60
