Smaller sized Peanut or Pear shaped Goldfields Salad Oil. Smooth base (probable remains of a faint wide round pontil scar). Goldfields Salad Oil Eight convex sides around a peanut or pear shape. Three rings at lower and mid neck. Applied top. Aqua. 5 oz. 216 mm. 1850s
Very Good. Polished. A bit of haze. Minor marks. Extensive annealing marks inside the neck. Shallow 8 x 3 mm chips at base edge have been smoothed over with the polish. Attractive little bottle. Grade: 7.7 Estimate: $80 - 120
