T. Field / Potter / Sydney (in small round stamp). (New South Wales) Ginger Beer Cork Stoppered Dump. Red/Orange Glaze. Impressed. 10 oz. 172 mm. 1870s
Fair. Repaired around the base including the lower part of the stamp. Can see a firing crack inside the base of the bottle but no holes or the like so just seems to be filled chips around the base. Lots of pimples and little blowouts all over the surface. Some wear has affected these but hard to tell where the potters faults end and later wear begins. An ok shelf example. Grade: 5.5 Estimate: $10 - 20
