Four small ceramic items: 1. S. Maw, Son & Thompson, London baby feeder cap. 2. Mather's, Manchester baby feeder cap. 3. Morris's Eye Ointment pot lid. 4. A. van Hoboken & Co, Rotterdam bottle cap. Pot Lid Various All are round white items with black print, Hoboken has red print as well. 32 to 44 mm across. 1900s
1. Good. Could be better, but has obviously been cleaned with acid as there is some crystallisation underneath. A little crazing and a minor inner edge flake. 2. Very Good. A shallow nibbled flake to lower flange. Flake under flange. 3. Good. 11 x 5 mm nibbled flake to outer left flange. Some dirt that should clean off. No base. 4. Excellent. Only minor marks. Print is overglaze, but really good. This would have had a cork underneath to stopper a bottle of Hoboken gin. Cork is no longer there of course. Grade: N/A Estimate: $20 - 30
