Good. Polished. Oiled. 25 mm crack along bottom edge of lip on left, one end curves down into the neck. Impact surface flake to right base edge. 9 mm surface fracture to left upper body. Another curved surface fracture to mid rear. Some scuffs and scratches. Remains of little flakes and surface nicks. Remains of some fine etching around the embossing, which looks to have been well protected during the polish. A classic Western Australian codd, this is the first we have sold.
