S. P. Thornton / Lithgow // Trade Mark / (Galloping Horse) / Unapproachable / Regd. Smooth base. (New South Wales) Aerated Water Codd Niagara type. Spun finished top. Aqua. 10 oz. 220 mm. 1920s
Very Good. Three small flakes to the inner lip and one has a very shallow bruise associated to it of about 6 x 5 mm. Surface just shows a bit of crate rub type scuffing. Some small marks to parts of the embossing. On the writing side are three mould marks where the glass has caught during making. One is a line between the two lines of embossing and the other couple of marks are next to the underside of the word Lithgow. Good looking bottle. Grade: 7.8 Estimate: $50 - 75
