Good. Book is worse for wear. Some pages are loose and a couple at rear have been cut out. However, this is all about the labels. Page 1 has one large Suzuki label from Japan, then 14 small labels including two advertising Lactogen. Page 2 has a large Bryant and Mays label, then 14 small labels again. There is a Federal with Australian coat of arms, another Federal from Alexandria, Sydney, also a Moa Brand from Japan that looks impressive, amongst others. Page 3 has two large Japanese labels and 8 small labels including a Platypus, Daum & Co, Melbourne (they had bottles too), another advertising Tea and so forth. Page 4 has 15 small labels including one advertising Peter Pan Cigarettes, an R.Olver & Sons from Brunswick Street, label with Richardson's price list (being a Melbourne wine and spirit merchant that had his own bottles) and another advertising "Robur" safety matches, amongst others. Page 5 has 14 small labels including one advertising Kitchen's Electrine Candles, a great example advertising Abbotsford, the best ale, a flag matches with red Australian flag, a Blue Funnel Line shipping label, Kandy-Koola and more. Page 6 has 15 small labels including Rosella, Beacon, White Crow (sounds like a sauce catalogue!), Bradley Wiggs & Co from Geelong, Nestle and more. Page 7 has 15 small labels including Southern Cross matches from Bryant and May, and a Bullock from Prahran, Armadale, Murrumbeena, Elsternwick, Dandenong, Malvern and Cranbourne! Page 8 has 15 small labels including Adler brand, Yankee Doodle, McLintock's, Sirdar, Bushells, Russell's from AscotVale and Kinkara amongst others. Page 9 has 15 labels including Richardson's wine and spirit merchants from Melbourne, Rasawatte, Havelock, Evan Rees from Melbourne and more. So there you have it, 129 match box labels from the 1920 from all over the World including many Australian examples and many advertising products pertaining to bottle collecting! These are mostly glued into place, have wear, stains and discolouration, some have tears and maybe a little hole or two. These are extremely interesting with some rarities amongst them.
