Excellent. A stunning jar, I have never seen anything like it! This product was first advertised in Melbourne (where this was found) in 1869 in these half pound jars. The lid is the most important part here, it has just a few scratches to the outside. The inner rim edge has some nibbles and a shallow 6 x 2 mm bruise. The jar has a ground upper lip with some minor nibbles. Some grime. Minor scuff or two and a few fine scratches. ALPACA pomatum - really! Amazing piece of history! Grade: 8 Estimate: $75 - 125
