Unusual wide bodied castor oil, or blue goldfields black? Base Mark: Dot inside a raised section. Goldfields Castor Oil Applied top. Mid blue. 7 oz. 187 mm. 1850s
Good. Remains of capsule around lip. Heavily stained throughout, a bit flaky in places as well. Scuffs and scratches scattered around. Looks like a small goldfields black, but is blue like an early castor oil. It is fatter than a castor oil though. Not sure what it is, but it is a lovely piece of early glass. Grade: 6.7 Estimate: $20 - 30
