Bavarian Hop Bitters. No Base Mark. (Victoria) Spirits Bitters Applied top. Tapered gin shape. Aqua. 26 oz. 226 mm. 1880s
Very Good. Some minor nibbles to the lip edge and scrape marks. There is a bruise to the upper lip over about 15 mm, quite shallow this is at the deepest about 2 mm. Stained throughout, there is some etching as well. Also has an opalescent appearance in places. Some wear, scuffs and scratches. This is a very rare Victorian bitters from R. O'Donnell & Co of Melbourne. Grade: 7 Estimate: $100 - 150
