Four brass Cricket Belt Buckles: 1. Oval Front piece on its own with crossed cricket bats in front of stumps, wreath and decoration all around. 2. Outline front piece with large letters CRICKET and small letters Boys for Ever across. 3. A backing piece missing its centre decoration but on the sides are a set of stumps and crossed bats. 4. Fancy looking batsman with stumps (batsman is missing his bat). Metalware Buckle Various 68, 61, 76 & 54 mm across. 1860s-1880s
All OK for display but also they all have some damage. First one has a bend and a bit of a hole. Second is missing a piece of the first couple of letters. Third has some bends and is missing the centrepiece. Fourth missing corners and bent, plus of course the bat is missing. Still a good group of this great part of cricket history.
