Robert Thin / Liverpool with British registration diamond to base (dated 11th May 1858 and registered to John Cummington & Co., Liverpool). Known as the Robert Thin Leaf Bottle. Goldfields Vinegar Applied top. Neck ring. 9 scalloped rips down neck to shoulder, where there is a leaf pattern draped over the shoulder between each of these nine ribs. Six ribs down the bottle at the front from here, with a label space at the rear. There is a leaf pattern at the bottom of each of these six ribs. Aqua. 26 oz. 332 mm. 1850s-1860s
Excellent. Couple of little nibbled marks to points near base. One or two scuffs and a spot of wear as well. Some scratches. Small surface bubble or two. Small patch of surface rust or two. A lovely example. Grade: 8.1 Estimate: $100 - 150
