Medium gothic arch salad oil. No base mark. Goldfields Salad Oil Applied top. 6 gothic arch panels. Aqua. 13 oz. 260 mm. 1850s
Fair. Crude lip looks like it is chipped, in fact this is all from making. Impact at bottom of one of the ribs has a tiny flake from it, there is an associated crack about 25 mm one way, down 5 mm or so, and then another joining the two over about 35 mm. In fact, there is a tiny bit of shiny residue here, so the central piece between cracks may be glued back in? Surface bubble or two. Stained throughout. Some inner grimy stain as well. Several scuffs and scratches, a few are discoloured. Looks good, you don't get them in this colour and size often. Grade: 5 Estimate: $30 - 50
