Target Ball. Australian made. Nice consistent light amethyst throughout. Cross-hatched pattern with target like pattern to sides. Sporting Target Ball Round target ball with shear or burst lip. Amethyst. 65 mm diameter. 1890s
Excellent. Surface is just a bit dull with some light stain inside as well. Has had some baby oil inside. Small flakes and the like around the shear lip. Some crude making marks and the like. Lovely item, again this is one of a small number that was found many years ago in Wagga Wagga. Rare item, certainly Australian made with this pattern attributed to the Melbourne Glass Works.
