Three Whisky Advertising Pieces: 1. BL on both sides of central match holder / Bulloch, Lade & Cos Scotch Whisky. 2. Teacher's / Estab (TSW Monogram / Trade Mark) 1830 / Whisky. Base: (Difficult to read) Made by / Henry Jenkins & Sons Ltd / Birmingham / for / Wm Teacher & Sons Ltd / Registered. 3. Captain John Willis of the Cutty Sark / (Bearded Man in a Top Hat) / "Old White Hat" // Cutty Sark / Scotch Whisky // (Three masted Clipper ship) / 1869 / Cutty Sark. Base: Imported by the Buckingham Corp. N.Y., N. Y. Distilled, Blended & Bottled in Scotland 86º / Impressed: TLH. Spirits Whisky/Whiskey Porcelain Match Striker, Brass Change Tray and Handled Advertising Whisky Water Jug. Black & White. 137 & 121 mm across and 163 mm. 1890s-1960s

1. Bulloch Lade match striker is Excellent. Some fading to the overglaze print but mostly pretty clear. A flake or two around the edge. Some minor marks. 2. The Teachers is very heavy brass. Must have been buried because there is pitting and the like over the surface. Has been cleaned. Upper side is better than the underneath. Great looking item. Nice pair of whisky advertising pieces. 3. Excellent. Attractive later jug. A couple of small making marks such as an indent on the handle and around the base but these are glazed over. Lovely prints. Nice item. Grade: N/A Estimate: $50 - 75
