Pair of Pottery Tall Ships attributed to Bendigo Pottery. (See Page 338, Bendigo Pottery, Arnold) Pottery Bendigo Moulded Ships. Handpainted. Larger one is unglazed underneath, smaller one is in fact glazed white under the hand applied paint. 215 & 205 mm across the base. 1930s-1940s
Taller one has a broken centre mast. Smaller one has the centre and forward mast broken. Unusual that this one is glazed underneath, these are usually known as being unglazed and then handpainted. Both made with wall hanging holes in the back. Dirty and grimy too. Interesting pieces. Come with a pair of wire stands. Grade: N/A Estimate: $30 - 50
