Maw, Son & Sons / Aldersgate St / London / England. Proper base with MAW embossed underneath. 2. Carbolic / Tooth Paste / For Cleansing and / (Maws Logo with small company name) / Preserving the Teeth & Gums / S. Maw, Son & Thompson / Aldersgate Street / London. England. Also with a base that doesn't really match. 3. S. Maw Son & Thompson London EC / Ambrosial / Shaving Cream / Perfumed with / Almonds / (Shield with a Rose). With a base that is a rough fit. Pot Lid Miscellaneous 1. & 2. Square & Round. Black & White. 3. Larger round pot lid. Black & White. 1. & 2. Both about 69 mm across 3. 91 mm diameter. 1890s-1900s

1. Square one is Very Good. Most of the gold border is gone. Crazing. Minor marks. 2. Round one is Excellent. Minor marks. Flake on the flange. Round base is quite chippy, square base is very nice. Grading for Lids only. 3. Very Good. Inside the underneath is a group of hairlines forming a star, not visible on the face however. 12 x 9 and 10 x 4 mm chips on the flange. Flake on the rim. A bit of stain and discolouration but again the face is mostly free of this. Base is crazed. Some stain and a few flakes and small chips. Grading for lid only. Grade: N/A Estimate: $60 - 80
