Near Mint. Amazing item! The box is great with a few minor spots of wear or scratches. It opens to reveal everything neatly stored as it has been for nearly 100 years! Yes, this can accurately be dated to 1925, with one of the original vials being wrapped in a leaflet that doubles as a calendar for 1925. So, inside we have a cardboard box of Storer's Ivaline Throat Powder. This opens to reveal a small box wood container with his label on top complete with the contents! The next box has Storer's Ivaline for Coughs and Colds. This has a vial inside corked with contents. The vial has an applied top with spun finish, so rings true to the era! Similarly, the third box has Storer's Ivaline Herbal Stomach Compound with a vial with contents. These boxes have some stains and wear, the contents are great. Now for the tins. Storer's No 1 Herb Liver Pill. This rattles so has some contents. There is a Storer's Ivaline Catarrh Ointment tin which has a bit of weight so must have some ointment inside. And then there is an imposter! A wonderful little tin of Faulding's Solyptol Antiseptic Ointment. These tins are in great nick, they seem to have a bit of grimy ointment externally. All in all, downright amazing condition and set of medicinal items from this South Australian herbalist! Grade: N/A Estimate: $100 - 150
