Four Chinese Jars Chinese Various Bean Jars 108, 102, 95 & 88 mm. 1850s-1870s
1. Near Mint. Plenty of crude making marks. Some rust stain. Glaze is somewhat shinier than normal for Chinese pottery. Some scratches and minor marks. A great item. 2. Excellent. An unusual wide mouth jar with thin flared lip. Crude making marks. Some grime. A few scratches and minor marks. A bit of rust stain. 3. Excellent. Little nibbled flake to upper lip. Lower lip has a small flake as well. A little bit of rust. Some minor scratches. Very hard to get in this small size. 4. Very Good. Flake to outer lip is just over glaze depth. Couple of fine slivers to upper unglazed lip. Flake to inner base heel. Crude making marks. A nice, unusual piece of Chinese pottery. Grade: N/A Estimate: $100 - 150
