Excellent. Unknown era, this is possibly an early item that has never been buried, but as it was an ebay purchase by the vendor, it is not known for sure if it is the same era as other buckles being offered. HOWEVER, we have seen a different buckle with this same central design that was detected on the goldfields, so I feel this is an old item! This is one of the buckles with the separate attachment, this is held in place by three hooks which are solidly in place. Clamp and loop are in place. Some scratches and a few minor dints. Quite a fabulous brass buckle. Part of a collection of buckles being offered across a few more auctions. Grade: N/A Estimate: $150 - 200
