Early pharmacy jar with label. Base Mark: Pontil. (Duerdin and Sainsbury, Melbourne) Medicine Pharmacy Flared lip. Cobalt. 1 Quart. 214 mm. 1880s
Very Good. Couple of tiny lip nicks. Some fine scuffs and scratches. Couple of short deep scratches. Flaked around the pontil under the base, which is from making. The label has totally faded and is discoloured, but this can just be read enough to show that it was a Duerdin and Sainsbury label. Grade: 7.8 Estimate: $20 - 30
