Blue bulged flared lip bottle with nine pronounced ribs. Base Mark: (British Registration Diamond). (Registered on the 16th of October 1849 by Westwood & Moore, The Bottle Works, Brierley Hill, Dudley). Goldfields Salad Oil Applied top, flared lip. Blue. 26 oz. 270 mm. 1850s

Near Mint. Stunning bottle! A bit of surface grime that will clean off. A few fine discoloured scratches. Some other fine scratches and minor scuffs. Tiny nick or two to surface. Superb colour. Registered on the 16th of October 1849 by Westwood & Moore, The Bottle Works, Brierley Hill, Dudley. Salad oil, vinegar or something else as contents? Not sure, but it is a very early and very nice bottle! Grade: 9.1 Estimate: $500 - 750
