Pair of Goldfields Pickles: 1. Batty's Crown pickle. Base mark: (British Registration Diamond). Remains of original label. 2. Round pickle with scalloped neck and shoulder. No base mark. Goldfields Pickle Applied top. Aqua. 1 Pint. 235 & 220 mm. 1850s
1. Very Good. Little nibbled impact to upper lip. 12 x 3 mm sliver to base edge. Some surface dullness that may simply be dirt or dust. A few scratches and a couple of tiny scuff marks. The label is in place, this is poor, but a number of the words and the prize medals can still be seen. Interesting item. 2. Very Good. Polished. Remains of some surface etching and haze internally. A few pitted marks, some scratches and minor marks. Some tiny nicks around the lip. Grade: N/A Estimate: $40 - 60
