Group of Chinese Items: 1. Selection of Chinese lids. 2. Three tiny Chinese finger bowls and a spoon in a light blue colour. 3. 10 x Chinese opium vials. Chinese Plate Various Various. 19th century
1. Five unglazed flat pieces of pottery which I think are caps off of ginger or bean jars. However, they all have a flat section which could make them useful as a small dish? Some minor flakes and marks to these, one has a hole in it from manufacture. The brown glazed lid has a few scratches and minor marks. The brass lid is probably from a tobacco container, this is dinted and stained. Interesting selection of items. 2. Smallest bowl has a couple of little flakes to rim. Middle one has a little flake to rim and some nibbles around the heel. Larger one has a couple of small chips to the rim and a flake to the heel. The spoon has a discoloured hairline to the spoon part. 3. Very Good or better in general. One has a lip chip. Some dirt and stain. Scratches and minor marks, but not much to note on the quick glance that we had. Listed asopium vials as that is how they are commonly known, however, these have proven to be otherwise with labelled examples showing peppermint oil or something similar from memory. Grade: N/A Estimate: $50 - 70
