Blue on White Willow Pattern Ginger Jar. Chinese Ginger Blue on White ginger jar 92 mm. Early 1900s
Good. 15 x 5 mm chip to the lip. Dark hairline runs about 50 mm down the side from the lip, can also be seen inside but fine and can barely be felt with a fingernail at a couple of points. Body mark in the pattern that has started as a manufacturing fault but is a little worn and chippy at the edges. A couple of short fine hairlines emanating from this mark. Two small chips at and under the base edge. A little bit of stain and wear. Nice pattern and colours. Still a nice little jar. Grade: 6.9 Estimate: $30 - 50
